This child was brought to our hospital with the complaints of fever and convulsions. The mother also gave past history of 3 similar episodes. Now, here you see this port wine staining of the face, comprativly bigger head, open mouth and thickened upper lip, Any diagnisis? Yes, exactly right. The child suffered from Sturge-Weber syndrome, sometimes also referred to as encephalotrigeminal angiomatosis associated with port-wine stains of the face, glaucoma, seizures, mental retardation, andipsilateral leptomeningeal angioma.
